We are science writers, journalists, multimedia creatives, educators and students in Michigan who are interested in science communication for the public. Our members span both Peninsulas, bordering four-out-of-five Great Lakes.

Much of MiSC's activity focuses around events that bring science writers and communicators together for socializing, networking and professional development. 

Our members work to create a diverse, equitable, and inclusive community among science communicators.
